Fadi E. Hallak

Fadi E. Hallak is an active private equity investor and investment banker with a successful track record in the origination and the placement of numerous PE transactions.  He is a skilled executive  with over 15 years in M&A, private equity  and venture capital experience.

Mr. Hallak began his career at Chemical Securities (later Chase) in Structured Finance where he performed over $55 billion in financings (including GM’s $24.5B re-financing). He continued his career with Chase Manhattan Bank in London, where he was responsible for marketing in the Arabian Gulf and the Levant. Most recently, Mr. Hallak was a founder of 1 OAK Financial Group, a London-based hedge fund.

Mr. Hallak has a B.A. in  Business Administration from American University in Washington, DC.

Ibrahim Mardam-Bey

Ibrahim Mardam-Bey is an international financier, business developer and entrepreneur with extensive experience. He possesses a broad range of unique experiences and a track record in the international finance, merchant investment banking and Islamic Finance world.

He also maintains an active role in corporate governance, mentoring and public speaking. At TDJ, Ibrahim Mardam-Bey has been instrumental in developing the firm’s new growth strategy. He oversees new business origination and the build out of several new TDJ initiatives, including Sukuk finance.

Mr. Mardam-Bey is also the co-founder and Non-Executive Chairman of Merchant-Edge, a merchant investment company. Previously, he was the co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Siraj Capital Ltd. Other positions have included serving as Chief Financial Officer of a telecom company, Strategic Advisor and Non-Executive Director of an educational software company, and Chief Marketing Officer and member of the founding team of one of the MENA regions’ leading structured finance banks.

As a published author, he has written on international finance, Islamic Banking and Sukuk, and has been featured in Euromoney, Banker Middle East, Sukuk Insider and others.

Mr. Mardam-Bey has received numerous business and professional recognitions and awards for his pioneering work on several international Sukuk transactions. Over the past 10 years, he has successfully arranged and raised financing (equity & debt) for multi-billion dollar projects and private equity funds. He is a member of the Arab Bankers Association of North America, the London based Arab Bankers Association and Young Arab Leaders.

Mr Mardam-Bey holds an M.A. in International Economics and a B.S. in Finance from The American University in Washington, D.C.
